I have a friend who has lived here 5.5 years, never late on rent, maintains a very attractive yard around his unit. It seems they have been through five managers. Heâs been through a bedroom ceiling dripping water onto his face in bed and took several months to have the sheetrock replaced. The underlying reason for the dripping was never addressed. We believe it is dryer condensation from very long and never cleaned duct work which increases fire risk and long dryer times. HVAC unit that needed to be replaced for two years and finally got done. His electric bill was negatively impacted during that time. Had a floor partial cave in outside the bathroom that did get repaired finally. Needed a new washer and refrigerator that took many months. Yes there are raccoons. Valet trash pick up instituted at $15 a month plus $25 toward the dumpster every month. Yet trash was very recently overflowing again all over the street in the grounds. Water heater quit working with no response for repair so he went out and purchased his own element that fixed the problem and was told they would not reimburse him for the cost of the element. Rotten wood deck pickets that he replaced himself and paint matched to get it fixed. I have numerous photos of bad wood rot all over the complex. However, last summer all buildings on the complex had external repairs, painting, and new vinyl siding applied. It does look MUCH better. His deck sliding glass door exploded and shattered last year. Has NOT been replaced yet, though a few others with the same problem have. He has never had roaches but had an invasion several months ago after pest control control visits lapsed and took a lot of time and effort to finally eradicate. That happened after the apartment next to him was emptied and sprayed, and the roaches moved into his place. It took quite a while, and with a new pest control provider his own effort, he finally got free of roaches. Positives: newer leasing agent Sue is very kind genuine and tries to be helpful. Longtime leasing agent Anita Williams is a godly woman who is very genuine and sincerely wants to help. I and many others speak very highly of her. Many reviews in the past have singly pointed out thst she is the reason for their satisfaction at this complex. I gave three stars for this review and expect that will improve. They finally have a new complex manager named Trey. Iâve met him once. My friend thinks highly of him, and I was impressed with his humility, kindness, as well as sense of responsibility in his position. My friend has observed that Trey is on the property late after hours when no one else is, and has walked the grounds after office hours. The massive overflowing trash situation got cleared up after he arrived.
