I moved in here in September 2024, thinking this would be a good place to live, but I was terribly wrong. Management has no PRIORITIES for its residents' apartments maintenance and residents. I made work orders last year in 2024 and didn't complete one of them until July 2025. Then, when they said I didn't have a key to my apartment, I went up to the office once and had them make me a key, and they lost it. Then, I went up a second time, and it's September right now, and my lease is coming up, and I'm moving out here in a couple of weeks. Management also doesn't ever get in touch with you whatsoever, unless you're late on rent or other notices about fixing the outside of apartments to make them look better, but they work like trash. Also, no one uses the gym amenities because they also look like trash, with barely any equipment. Even after the New management, nothing is getting done around the place. I hope I'm not being too selfish on the matter. After all, I want to speak for everyone that lives here because even I talk to my neighbors and they agree as well. At this point, none of these apartments should be over $800. I highly don't recommend these apartments at all. You have to constantly bug management/call them multiple times to get anything back from them. ALSO, Pest Control absolutely sucks here, they don't even have a routine going on for these types of things. I also had a lady come check out my carpet in my room to fix it because I had a work order in for it. After we got done looking at it, she said, "So what do you want us to do about it?" and I looked at her, crazy as hell, and was like, "What?". So obviously, she was no help at all because my carpet is still torn up. It also take up to 5 runs of my clothes to dry them completely no matter the size of the load.

Great place to get your car stolen and property vandalized 3 of my neighbors including myself cars were stolen within weeks of eachother.. gates and parking lot lights still not fixed.

within the first week of moving in, my boyfriends car was broken into along with 3 of my neighbors. our neighbor got shot at and struck the building, nearly missing him. infested with mice and stink bugs. my dog and i got run up on twice by pitbulls off leash with no owner around - forcing me to bring self protection just to let my dog out. the “gated community” doesn’t even work. the gym is gross. the pool wasn’t open because who knows what was wrong with it. oh yeah and we didn’t have A/C nearly the whole year we lived there. it got up to 85° in the summer and took them actually forever to replace the entire unit because they had like ~40 people ahead of us also without A/C. the worst place i’ve lived. i had to get out of there and it took over 2 weeks for them to “verify our residence” - making us lose out on other places to live. they simply don’t seem to care about anything, it’s disturbing.

Hey, my name is Ryan and I am a current tenant living at Haven Kansas City apartments. I would highly recommend not living here if you are looking for a place with staff that Will fill out the report form. I moved in back in August and within the first two months had already had to report bug incident. Little did I know coming in, but the building that I lived in was completely infested with fruit flies and roaches. The maintenance later Confirmed on video that everyone in our building has these issues and has to fight it. since August maintenance or pest control together has come three times. I have been requesting it since August and the first time pest control ever came was the last few weeks. It is really just sad and I do want to encourage you to move elsewhere, especially if you have a child! Ring documentation of them not coming to maintenance requests. The first week I had moved in there was a family with a child Somewhat running out of an apartment packing. I checked on them to make sure they are OK and the family told me that they would be definitely pressing charges because throughout the year they had been there, There had been multiple incidents of the water being off and them not Telling anyone. I thought that’s ridiculous, these things are going to be taken Care of, but unfortunately, I was wrong. About halfway through my Lease the water was shut off for about a day and a half. We then the next day received a forged date document with proof on our ring, that said hey, we are going to have the water off this day Backdated To the days before that. To give you an idea of how it has been so far I talked to my neighbor and he has a pet rat that he talks to in his Apartment. I went in and took a video for my parents to show that I am talking to staff, they admit to the fact that they had been talking to me But somehow they had never been putting in my bug request and we were not on the schedule for it. I thought I must be hearing things wrong. It is all the way in July at this point. But no, the manager and the front desk lady looked me in the eyes telling me they were going to get It taken care of and never did so until I asked for printed proof of them. They then, when I tried to call, told me that I wasn’t allowed to tape them In the future now and that they would kick my parents out if they tried to walk in and talk to them about what we done for our health. The day that she came to my apartment to check and see how things were done, and the day I tried to call, to talk To her about my lease and issues, I was given the same exact words.” I don’t have to take this.” I think that should say enough about what my experience has been like honestly, but feel free to keep reading Me and my Roommate are both moved out now Because we could no longer able to eat in the kitchen with one cabinet full of roaches and one Full of flies. Along with that, we have had a maintenance request in on our fridge That is leaking water everywhere and making our food moldy. We finally got the manager to come look, at After a while of bothering her And despite the fact that I had no food because of my kitchen looked me In the eyes and said, shouldn’t you guys try not keeping food in here. On call in the minute before she hung up with me, she said that maintenance was completely done, but it was leaking water last night when I was there so I wonder if it’s the same thing again. There is not a lot of reasons you should move in here despite the little bit they take off for rent. I am paying two rents just so I don’t have to live there. I did not move in with my parents. I am making do and working as Much as I can. I have lived in my car for some months, but never had a living experience worse than this, and that should say something. Not to mention now that I am finally trying to leave. They are trying to charge me for all the issues that they refuse to fix $300 in total.

Visited my boyfriend and his roommate many times in the apartment, in which many things were not acceptable living conditions. They had requested pest control in March and had still not received maintenance in August. I was bitten by one of the many roaches they refuse to get rid of and ended up with a severely infected wound. They also turned off the water for 3 days for the entire building, and then back dated the notice for the day before, which is illegal. Also, every vent is riddled with mold. If you live here I am so sorry for you. If you’re looking for a place, protect your health. I can’t imagine anything worse. Save yourself the nightmare. 9/11/25 Update: Funny how your response is that you’d like to hear from us to help and sort this out, yet managed to either hang up or ignore basically every single phone call placed. You have no interest in helping, you have made that quite clear.
