Haven continues to delete me bad reviews. This place is bad and hereâs why. We had sewer dripping into our apartment for months. Mold everywhere. And maintenance didnât care. They ended up painting over a month worth of leaking sewage and calling it fixed. The front office was rude. Amenities were not as promised. They nickel and dime everything. Also they have a major problem with fleas, mites, ants, spiders, mice and rats.

Lovely grounds, and my friend's apartment that I visited was nice. I don't know what they are like as landlords, though.

Morgan in the office was a complete delight to work with in any scenario we had go wrong, and let me tell you. BOY DID WE HAVE THINGS GO WRONG. First month in sewage from the upstairs neighbors bathroom was leaking into our causing excessive water damage to the ceiling. When maintenance finally showed up they didnât do anything except paint over the stains and the mold. After three or four visits from maintence over the course of a month they fixed the leak but the mold and discoloration of ceiling remained. Cynthia in the office was rude and disrespectful to me and my roommate anytime we came in to get our packages, demand maintence after it had been neglected for weeks, or to sort out the extra charges on our bill. The âamenitiesâ advertised to us were a sham, the pool area and hot tub are disgusting and had to be closed down multiple times for extended periods due to how grimy everything got. The hot tub that was advertised from the beginning of our 14 month lease was open a total of 2 months of our time there. The sauna advertised online and in pamphlet was non-existent due to someone âforgettingâ to take that out of the amenities after renovations. We had fleas, spiders, and oak mites from living next to a wooded area that cost us an extra $20 a month to live by because of the âviewâ although I donât think Iâd call garbage filled brush a wooded area. Get used to that extra $__ a month because Haven will nickel and dime you for anything they can. Trash overflowed into the street weekly because of the only one trash compactor. Garnage disposals broke frequently. The floors were uneven, walls are thin, I could constantly hear my upstairs neighbors fighting and running around because they exceeded the maximum occupancy limit that was allegedly being enforced. At the end of our leasewe negotiated for some compensation for our terrible experience at the apartment complexand recieved $200 off our last months rent. Curiously enough after our move out they kept our deposit of $180 and charged us an additional $300. So they made our âcompensation for poor facilitiesâ back by twisting the system to get them MORE MONEY. Haven doesnât care about its residents all they want is your money by any means necessary. If youâre considering this apartment complex please look somewhere else and do extensive research on whatever place you choose. I hope this review will at least save some people from making the mistake my roommate and I made.
