Havens is absolutely a very good place to live especially in the way residents are treated and the property management. I would give 6 stars to Larissa and the front office staff. The management takes care of the problems very quickly and will keep you informed via texts and door posts. The maintenence gets the job done fast as well. I have lived here for good 2 years and never had problem with cleanliness and immediate issues needing attention at the apartment.

This place is amazing! We just moved in. The staff here is extremely helpful and made the experience very welcoming. Before we first moved in we had a worry about the shower functions and they not only fixed them next day, they replaced them! We couldn't be happier.

Believe me when I say I’m not a disgruntled tenant. But I WISH I would have listened to the reviews and saved myself time and money! RODENTS: We’ve been dealing with mice since our second month here. At first it wasn’t so bad, we’d just see 1 every now and then. Then they started building nests...and now they’re everywhere! They’re defecating everywhere (including in our kitchen drawers), when they die it leaves an awful smell for DAYS, we even see them on our countertops looking for food! We pay a BOGUS mandatory pest control fee every month but all they will do is send out maintenance and then we have to spend OUR OWN money on traps, pellets and poison (after we’ve already paid a monthly pest fee). Don’t get me wrong the maintenance guy has become our friend, but he’s not an exterminator, his guess is as good as ours. Also the spiders- yuck. They’re EVERYWHERE! I’m a country girl love the outdoors but when you see more rodents and insects in the house than you do outside there’s a problem. FEES: THESE APARTMENTS NICKEL AND DIME YOUR WHOLE YEARLY SALARY AWAY. Rent and fees continue to climb every month or you’ll see a new fee on your bill. They took away the deposit box and now you either have to pay within business hours (which everyone is at work) or pay online which -SURPRISE- is another fee to do. Heck every time new management comes in it’s like they add a few more fees and they’ve changed management 2 times in less than my 1 year lease and 3 times within the past 2 years. The money we pay is not applied to the tenants wellbeing. LIVING CONDITIONS: I’m not sure why they advertise as a gated community, the gates are always broken. Or the call box to get in is broken. There’s absolutely NO parking spots after 5 pm (so hope you like to walk in all weather conditions) the only way you can have a guaranteed spot is...(drum roll please) you pay ANOTHER monthly fee for a reserved spot (im not talking about a car port spot either). Walls are really thin and the complex and apartments are not level which caused our key to break in the door :-). There’s a big hole in our floor that the renovators just put the flooring over. There are NO CLOSETS! You only get the one closet for your clothes. No pantry, no linen, no coat closets. They nit pick about what is allowed on the balcony. Because of the mice situation we wanted to put our trash can out on the deck and we got a letter on our door saying this was our “warning”, I could see if we lived where people could actually see our deck but our deck is hidden in the trees. I thought I’d go ahead and pay higher rent for quality living but that’s not the case here. Honestly you can pay a lot less and get way more of the things that actually matter like a peace of mind knowing I don’t have a mice in my drawer, or not having to walk in the snow down to my car, or you know maybe just to actually be able to get into my house (because between the gate and the un-leveled door your chances are slim- hope you don’t have to pee!)
