I was in a 1B & 1B unit for a year, it is quite spacious with the kitchen and bedroom, lot of spaces. Starting price is very reasonable, renewable rate is outrageous. Washer and dryer are in unit. Dryer is suck though because it would take two runs for them to dry my clothes, definitely add your your electric bills. Neighbor is little loud in the weekend but pretty good throughout the week. Sometimes loud car honks at night because people keep breaking into cars. Price chopper, Aldi is 5 mins drives, not a lot of thing to do in the area though. + Maintenance request took a week or two weeks to get resolved; you might want to call the office to get it resolved quicker instead of putting them online. I have a washer issue and it took them 2 week to resolve it. It used to be a lot faster when I first moved in, then start to have problem. + Trash only has one big compactor which is always full in the weekend and you have to walk pretty far or drive your car to drop off the trash. Quite inconvenient and messy sometimes. + Old hot water tank and old heater, one time it almost burned down the apartment because of the old water tank start burning the wood below it. Scared to death it happened during the middle of night. Heater has leaking gas and spend the night without heat while calling gas company at 1 am and we have a two years old kid in the apartment. Definitely check your heater and hot water tank. + Why even have a gate if is is always broken, people would use the exit lane to enter the apartment which is quite dangerous and pot holes are everywhere at the entrance. It probably works for like one month the whole time I was there. Leasing staffs are amazing. Anita is the best person in the office to work with. She ensures that all concerns are resolved but sometimes there are things that management need to improve on. The assistant manager is kinda rude. After moving out, they donât give back the deposit because the way they charge your water and trash bill is 2 months after. They also charge you $130 for moving out fee if you donât replace your stove pans or not getting your carpet cleaning professionally. Donât even think about getting your deposit back because of these reasons. They never mentioned that to you when you move in or maybe it was hidden on your lease contract.

I started looking for a place to call my home in June. I kept coming back to Haven Apartments. The price is right with newly updated units. I had time to move as I signed the lease 2 weeks before then. There were some minor things to be done before I moved in and they were finished fairly quickly. The staff is wonderful, Anita is the best! Very helpful and always gets back to you very soon. I would highly recommend this complex for your next move. UPDATE: 12/29/22- Change of heart. I have had trouble with maintenance. The broken window I asked to be fixed in August before I moved in wasn't fixed until October sometime. Right before that cold spell. I asked consistently about the outside light that was in the hall way. Their response "We'll get to it right away." 2 months later... Two weeks ago 12/15 my toilet over flowed. This was after hours so I called the emergency maintenance number at 6:50pm. No body called so I called again at 8:50pm, still no one called or came to fix it. Wouldn't you want to be able to go to the bathroom? I couldn't! This was very frustrating as I had my bathroom floor, hallway and under my washer and dryer were soaking wet. Moving on to the next day. I stopped at the office and spoke with Anita about the situation. She was very kind and apologetic. She said she would send someone out quickly. I went to work. Came home for lunch, walked into the bathroom, my hall and under the washer and dryer because it was soaking wet again. Mind you I had just washed all my rugs and pulled out the washer and dryer from the night before. Who ever was there left the floor soaking wet again. I missed a half days work because I had to clean it up again. Should I ask for compensation! Nope, they probably don't even read these reviews. They didn't leave a note to say anything about it being left that way. I'm still very frustrated that one of the maintenance men would do this and not think to have a little respect for me. Not very happy!

I just moved in 8/5, the process was so smooth and Anita was so helpful! The apartments are just gorgeous and my unit was nice and clean when I moved in. Would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for a nice place to live with helpful staff!

Uncooperative with fixing fire hazard stove and taking long time to fix ceiling. Blaming tenant for schedule conflict and claiming that they don't have a key to enter when tenant not home.
