Gate has never worked since i've been here. my neighbor's car has been stolen multiple times to the point he does even fix the window now. trash absolutely everywhere. Office lady is extremely rude. This morning I had to drive around two trash bags in the middle of the road to go to work.

This is a terrible place to live especially for the price. The facilities are never working or if they do its for only like a week before they are broken again. Trash is constantly over flowing. Back Gate is forever broken and stuck open. And After Getting shot at in the apartment and the owners still forcing us to buy out instead of being nice and lettings us go(even though its there fault they dont fix the gates) They still left a charge on our account that they did not call or try to reach out to us about even after we paid them $2500 for the buy out plus the two months we still had to live there constantly being worried and stressed we might get shot at again because this place is terrible

DON’T JUST DON’T. This place use to be so nice and have no issues. The past 6+ months have been a 180. My new neighbors slaughter pigs and chickens then hang them in the outside closet. Trash is everywhere. Bugs were never an issue until now. Imagine inviting your friends over, and they’re treated with a mountain of trash that’s spread out everywhere.

Don’t do it. My friend and I moved in because the price was pretty affordable for a 2 bed 2 bath and the location was decent. I wish we did more research. 1. Our hot water didn’t work our very first day we moved in. We called them to let them know and it took a few days. When we called again, they told us it was a Spire issue. We called Spire and they told us there was nothing they could do since our gas worked. Called the office again and after a few days, they finally sent 2 guys out to look at it and it was a simple fix that could’ve saved us a few days without hot water if they just sent someone out. 2. Our AC stopped working our first month here. Summer in the Midwest, it gets hot. Again, it took days for someone to come out and look at it. 3. The neighbors have 10+ people in their apartment, school age kids who don’t go to school, they live in vans scattered across the units, they even had a rooster in a plastic storage container by the front door. They are loud and we’ve called the cops on them multiple times for noise complaints. The office won’t do anything about them. 4. They tagged my car to be towed with a note that said call the office to handle this. I called them several times. Everytime I called, no one answered or the property manager was NEVER in and she didn’t bother to return my call. They had my car towed at 9pm on a Tuesday and I had to pay $500 to get it out of the tow lot a week before Christmas. Because they failed to communicate anything with me. 5. The trash overflows nonstop. They towed my car because expired tags and they wanted to “clean up the property” but they aren’t worried about the filth or the 10 janky vans that people live in all around the complex. We pay $25 for trash services and for what? 6. We pay to live in a gated community. We pay to feel secure. But my roommates car was broken into 2 times in a week because the gates don’t work. We also noticed in the lease that there is supposed to be patrol or security 24/7 but in the 6 months we’ve lived here, we have never seen any patrolman or security. 7. Our garage disposal hasn’t worked for over a week. We have called several times about this, among other issues we need to address with the property manager. We have called EVERYDAY for 2 weeks but we can’t get an answer or again, the property manager is never in. We are fed up with the negligence. The apartment isn’t worth this headache. You can find cheaper and better. The poor communication, the lack of security, and the unwillingness to cooperate with tenets needs to be addressed and fixed.

MOST RECENT & LAST UPDATE: They have let go all the ladies people had been complaining about for years (finally). I spoke with the potential new management during my check out 3/31/25, she seems very passionate about getting the complex back together and is doing well tackling the mess that was left for her. Hopefully things look up from here. I was a resident here for 2 years. They REFUSED to give me information to make a formal complaint to someone higher up. But during my 2nd year here I searched & found Andrew Nevins as a higher up regional manager and got in contact with him. He was doing well overseeing the property and management was getting it together for a bit there. Maybe a month or so of good communication but as soon as he left it dropped back off. Security gate is STILL BROKEN. Cars are STILL being broken into/stolen. I have had to invest in extra security measures for my car just because I live here. Maintenance and the office have poor communication, and they blame each other whenever you ask about why the timeframe of your request being fixed took so long. There was only one time management ever reached out to me about my complaints: “Sooo, what’s your problem?” was genuinely the first question Ms. Anita asked me on the phone one day. Professionalism goes out the window once they’re sick of you holding them accountable. They send out texts about paying rent and doing sweeps to “make sure your unit/patio is presentable,” while the wood is rotten & there’s nails sticking out... ? The buildings and walkways outside are filthy… ? There are SIMPLE solutions that would mitigate the amount of complaints they receive on the daily, but what do I know! I’ve also voiced it to them multiple times, that residents would take care of the complex if we saw management doing it. But we’re not even seeing that. Make it make sense please Communication is THE main skill needed when working in management; it’s very disappointing that it’s so hard to receive. And when it is, you regret reaching out in the first place. Well I’m sorry for being “one of those” residents but I’m also not. I get this ain’t the Four Seasons but I do not ask for anything that is not already part of their OWN standards they set for us. Nobody forced y’all to work at a place you don’t enjoy & there’s no need to project that onto us when it’s literally your JOB to assist. I was going to wait until I left to give a review but these women are twice my age with 0 professional skills and that is just absolutely insane to me. Don’t bother with the generic apology message to this review it’s inauthentic & outdated w/ no improvement. How are you gonna say “please reach out to us” but the reason we here is because the phone stays unanswered… It’s reviews from YEARS ago that say the same things reviews from today do. These bad reviews are going to pile up until y’all are either out of a job or fired, what’s not making sense about that? There’s a sense of pride you should have in any job you do.. the women managing Haven right now have 0.

Avoid. My building has been without water for 7 days with no resolution and very little communication. The first communication received was on day 4. Day 5 a hotel was offered as long as the resident paid up front and would be reimbursed at an undisclosed time. Twice we have been told the water would be turned back on when it hasn’t been. No communication on if they are working to at least find a place for residents to shower or anything. There is one dumpster in the entire complex that is constantly overflowing with trash all over the ground for days at a time.

Awful completely terrible apartment complex I would not convinced my worse enemy to move into these units the office is run very unprofessionally and uncharismatic the walls are thin you can hear your neighbors do absolutely about anything there is no cabinet spaces they do not change filters nor do they do maintenance regularly there are an abundance of leak issues and water damage shutting off water pipes having to go w/o water for days meaning you cannot flush shower brush teeth or cook but they will hound you for rent money consistently but will not go about doing the necessary repairs.

I would not recommend staying in these apts the rent is excessively high for a 1 bedroom apt the office staff are rude and don’t care during the winter storm when it was below -0 degrees my furnace conveniently stopped working during the time I had no heat I gave the office and maintenance a 5 day notice but no one came to resolve the issue I have called them to notify and they have blocked my number I had stay isolated in my apt below 60 degrees they told me that there were multiple units with same issue but when I called spire they told me they had no recent report of outage’s my neighbor has called the police on me 5 times for a noise complaint that wasn’t coming from my unit even the police had to tell her so they bother you nonstop w/ text emails calls about rent money but will not show up to fix any problems you may have in your apt unit 0/10 I do not recommend
