THIEVES!!! Garbage city!!
I just recently moved out due to the increasingly awful conditions and treatment of management. It is UNSAFE to live here. I lived here for three years and loved it the first two, but the last year went from bad to worst. The gates DO NOT work and they refuse to fix them, which is a lease violation as they are not providing a service they said they were going to. People come in all the time and dump their garbage. People live out of their cars. They do not enforce lease policies such as keeping garbage off balconies and outdoor areas attracting all sorts of pests and rodents. Crime has gotten OUT of control. People stash and move stolen cars here. I witnessed police repossessed one from my balcony, armed. On my last night I witnessed domestic abuse in the parking lot, again from my balcony. The woman could barely get up and walk away after a male hit her. He came close to running her over seconds later in his truck. I hope to god she was ok. My poor, new neighbor, who just moved in, went to offer assistance. There is a sink hole management has known about for a least two years and done NOTHING about. An outside contractor put up a protective caution tape like barrier, NOT HAVEN. What would happen if a kid fell in? They frequently ignore maintenance requests to the point of inhumane living conditions. No water for weeks, no heat or AC in extreme temps. I paid for a parking spot that was never enforced and I frequently had to call the poor tow company to haul away cars. This place is a nightmare to live at and there are stories worse than mine. Believe all the stories cause they are true. Now that I'm finally free, they've decided to STEAL my deposit. I got a check for 52 dollars in the mail. No itemization of the deductions made. Which is ILLEGAL in the state of Missouri. I've called the office multiple times, all times being professional over the phone requesting an itemization of deductions made, and inquiring about my pet deposit. To which I got one person saying "that's not my job" and "I'll put a note for johlande to call you back." Never did. The second time I I finally got ahold of someone it was johlande. Again I was not rude, just inquiring about my deposit. She said "someone just walked into the office let me take your phone number down and I'll call you back." Paint me in clown face cause she BLOCKED my phone number. How can a business get away with this? Instead of responding to my google review, why doesn't someone RETURN MY PHONE CALL???? Anita is a front to get people to sign a contract to live there because no one else in the office will work with you to resolve issues. No. They fired all the decent workers they had.
